 الفرق بين الارقام العددية والارقام الترتيبية One, two, three \ First, second, third 

• دائما ما يكون البعض منا فى حيرة من أمره حينما يدرس اللغة الأنجليزية وتدور فى رأسة بعض الاسئلة مثل ؟

1. لماذا نتهجى 1 ، 2 ، 3 ، 4 مثل هذا؟
2. من أين تأتي الحروف؟

• في هذا الدرس ، ننظر إلى تهجئة الأرقام الترتيبية وبعض القواعد.
• يختلف استخدام الارقام العدية  والتى تعرف ب ( one, two, three )  أى (1,2,3) عن الارقام الترتيبية والتى تعرف ب 
   ( first, second , third ) أى ( الأول . الثانى , الثالث ) .

شرح بعض الأمثلة 

. Mum gave me one cake, but i wanted two

• هذا المثال يعنى. أعطني أمي كعكة واحدة ، لكنني أردت اثنتين .. ويوضح كيفية استخدام الارقام العدديه المتكونه فى رقم 2 وتعنى فى اللغة الإنجليزية two.

. I got the full mark in the first test

• هذا المثال يعنى . حصلت على الدرجة الكاملة في الاختبار الأول ويوضح كيفية استخدام الارقام الترتيبية المتمثلة فى كلمة الاول وتعنى فى اللغة الاتجليزية The fiest

لاحظ هذه الامثله .

(1st = first (She won first prize

1 = أولاً (فازت بالجائزة الأولى)

(2nd = second (I live on the 2nd floor

الثانية = الثانية (أعيش في الطابق الثاني.)

(3rd = third (Take the third turning on the left|

الثالث = الثالث (خذ الدوران الثالث على اليسار.)

(4th = fourth (It's his fourth birthday

الرابع = الرابع (إنه عيد ميلاده الرابع.)

(5th = fifth (This is the 5th time I've taken my driving test

الخامسة = الخامسة (هذه هي المرة الخامسة التي أجرى فيها اختبار القيادة الخاص بي.)

• نحتاج إلى كتابة هذه الأرقام الترتيبية بالكلمات في الكتابة الرسمية - الأعمال ، طلبات التوظيف ، إلخ. لكن لا بأس في كتابتها بالأرقام (الأول والثاني والثالث ...) في كتابة غير رسمية للأصدقاء والزملاء وتعليقات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي ، إلخ

انظر إلى هذه ولاحظ آخر حرفين من الكلمات

   1st = first
الأول = الأول
2nd = second
الثانية = الثانية
3rd = third
الثالث = الثالث
4th = fourth
الرابع = الرابع
5th = fifth
الخامس = الخامس

• هل تستطيع رؤية آخر حرفين من الكلمات التي تشكل العدد الترتيبي؟

أولاً - الحرفان الأخيران هما 'st' ، لذا وضعت بعد 1 = 1st

الثانية - يتم وضع الحرفين الأخيرين بعد 2 =2nd
الثالث - آخر حرفين 'rd' ، لذلك وضعت بعد 3 =3rd
الرابع - آخر حرفين هما "th" لذا وضعت بعد 4 = 3rd
